If you thought cryptocurrencies were intangible objects, oh boy, were you mistaken. Sure, this $20 fake Bitcoin is practically worth nothing, but remember: a man in NY passed Chuck E. Cheese coins off as legitimate Bitcoins and made a cool $1 million before he was caught. The company that produces these faux coins sure does want their customers to know that these are, in no way, legitimate government-issued coins. These “gold plated” coins are actually beautifully crafted and have a nice weight to them. At most, it is a hilarious novelty item to remind us all that at one point in time, we could have bought 10,000 Bitcoins for the price of cheese pizzas.
