What Is A Furry?
Furry is a term used to describe an extremely vast community of people with a collective interest in the cartoon, anthropomorphic characters such as Nick Wilde from Zootopia. Artists who create furry art full-time have been known to make figures up $50,000 a year. However, even artists who make furry art as a side hustle still make anywhere between $10,000 – $20,000 on top of whatever their normal salary is. Plus, with the furry fandom only growing, this number can expect to grow in the coming years.
Why Do People Become Furries?
The whole reason that these furry artists have food on their table every day is that there is a constant demand for furry art and this is because the fandom is constantly growing. But why do people even become furries?
The whole appeal of being a furry is that it gives people a chance to create a completely new identity. It grants people who may not be the most confident people in real life, an escape, a vessel for their confidence.
Also, some people just like cartoon animals.
