Work Outs Inspired By Batman & More Shows & Movies

Fitness blogger Neila Rey put together workouts inspired by all kinds of popular shows, movies, comics, and video games. There are guides themed after Batman (AND Bane!), Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, The Avengers, Assassin’s Creed, and more! So many more.

That’s a lot of workouts. More than I’ve ever done! And more than I will ever do. I’m committed to my sedentary lifestyle.

Batman Workouts and Superhero-Inspired Exercises

Ever wondered what it takes to train like the Dark Knight? Rey’s Batman-inspired workout turns superhero training into an actual exercise routine. No Batcave, billion-dollar exercise equipment, or deeply traumatic origin story required. Although I hear those last two really help with motivation.

And Batman isn’t the only one getting the fitness treatment. Bane and characters from The Avengers are among the inspirations behind this collection of pop culture workouts. Personally, I’m hoping there’s a routine based on sitting around watching superheroes do all the heavy lifting. Pretty sure I’ve already mastered that one.

Workouts Inspired by Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, and More

Superheroes aren’t the only fictional characters worth getting sweaty over. Rey also created exercise guides inspired by Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, and video games like Assassin’s Creed.

These aren’t magical training programs that’ll turn you into a superhero or a sword-swinging warrior overnight. They’re themed exercise routines that make ordinary fitness challenges feel a little more like preparing for your next big-screen adventure.

One of the coolest things about the original guides is their visual format. Instead of making you read a novel about the benefits of squats, the posters lay out exercises and repetitions in an illustrated, easy-to-follow arrangement. It’s a pretty clever way to make working out more appealing to people who’d rather be watching a movie.

Rey’s fitness work is also associated with DAREBEE, a free fitness resource featuring illustrated workouts, exercise programs, and challenges. So if these pop culture routines actually inspire you to get off the couch, there’s plenty more where they came from.

As for me? I’ll be over here watching Batman beat up bad guys while I work on my most important muscle group: the one responsible for lifting snacks into my mouth. Feel the burn!
