America’s veterans have given a lot to our great country. Whether they served decades ago or more recently in the Middle East, they deserve our respect and admiration for what they did and the sacrifices they made.

If you have one or more veterans in your life, you should get them a gift for Veterans Day, a birthday, or even Christmas. Luckily, there are lots of great gifts for veterans you can choose from, whatever the occasion might be.

Service-Pride Clothes

Hats, sweaters, T-shirts, and more are all great gifts to the veterans in your life. Specifically, you should pick up clothes that showcase pride in the US Armed Forces, such as shirts that say, “US Marines”, or that express thanks to all US military service members.

Of course, make sure to get any service-pride clothes in the right size for the veteran in your family! The last thing you want is to get them a quality article of clothing, only to find that it doesn’t fit.

Display Case

One of the best military gifts you can give to a veteran is a display case for their medals, patches, and other accessories or awards from their time in active duty. Display cases are perfect for positioning above a fireplace, putting below a TV, or placing in some other place of honor in the household.

However, don’t cheap out on the display case! The best display cases should be made with quality, polished hardwood of one species or another. They should also feature reinforced glass so that, in the event that the case falls to the ground, it may not be totally broken or it’ll protect the medals and patches within.

Whatever you choose, make sure the display case is sized appropriately for the number of medals and awards the veteran in your life has to display.

Tactical Gear

You can’t go wrong when it comes to tactical gear! Tactical gear like holsters, slings, and other accessories are perfect for veterans who want to keep up their marksmanship skills even after leaving the military.

Once again, however, make sure you get the right tactical gear for your veteran’s firearms or weapons so they can use them immediately!

Truck Decals

Does your veteran have a truck (odds are, they do)? If that’s the case, consider getting them some decorative stickers or decals they can put on the back window or tailgate. Flags, statements of pride, or even US military branch logos are all great ways to showcase pride in your veteran’s accomplishments and service and let them showcase that pride as well.

Multipurpose Tools

Multipurpose tools, like knives or wrenches or a keychain tool, are great gifts for military veterans. A multitool can be a great gift since it shows that you pay attention to what your veteran needs. It also gives them a handy and practical device they can store in their truck, toolbox, or elsewhere.

The right multitool can really come in handy in a pinch like an emergency situation or on a camping trip. Regardless, all veterans love to feel prepared, and multitools can help them feel that more than perhaps any other gift on this list.

Challenge Coin + Holder

Challenge coins are historical gifts for military veterans. In fact, they date back to a World War I tradition. In a nutshell, challenge coins prove that a veteran belongs to a branch in the military or even a single squad or battalion.

If a veteran in your life has a challenge coin or several, get them a holder for them instead. Alternatively, you can order a challenge coin for your veteran’s battalion, squad, or military branch if they don’t have one of these decorative pieces already.

Decorative Phone Case

You can’t go wrong with a practical, helpful gift like a decorative phone case. Like with truck decals and stickers or clothes showcasing pride in the military, you can pick up a phone case for a veteran if it has the American flag or other logos relating to their service branch or time in the armed forces.

For an even better gift, make sure the phone case in question is durable and meant to withstand a beating – many veterans have hard-core hobbies, and the case you get them should do a great job protecting their phone!
