Prittlewell Priory Museum in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, had an 800-year-old coffin “The sandstone relic” for display. It was damaged after someone tried place a child inside for a photo by lifting a child over a protective barrier. Due to this act the coffin has got the damages and got one crack too.
