“One Year Lease” is a short video documenting the voicemails NYC residents Brian, Thomas, and Casper the cat received from their landlady Rita over the course of a year. Is she wrong for offering to watch the cat? Can you blame her for wanting a secondhand paper shredder? Who is going to look after teenager pigeons, if not for her? I say Rita is the true hero in this story. Then again, I’m a certifiable crazy person, so take that with a giant-ass grain of salt. Hell! Take it with a whole shaker of giant-ass salt. You know, to be on the safe side.
