Let the Sunlight In

Natural light is easily the strongest factor that influences your circadian rhythm. If you want to help yourself then it’s a good idea for you to try and get as much sunlight as possible. When you do, you will soon find that Melatonin, which is the hormone that induces sleep, decreases. Getting some sun will help your body to know that it is time for you to wake up and get going. Start the Day with Protein

Next, you need to try and prepare yourself a breakfast that will help you to boost your energy levels for longer. In the morning, you need to try and choose foods which are very rich in protein. This can include eggs, nuts and even yoghurt. You also need to look into protein, grains and even whole foods. These are great as they can stop you from crashing later in the morning. On top of this, protein can boost your own ability to be productive and to concentrate as well.

Workout Outside


You know your body at the end of the day. There’s probably a time when you feel more tired. If you know that you feel very tired around 3pm every day, then try and get up and move around. A fast walk outside is easily the best way for you to recharge. As a bonus, exercising in fresh air will boost your endorphins too. It will also work wonders for your metabolism and your immune system in general.

Limit Caffeine

It’s very true that coffee gives you energy, but you have to remember that when it all wears off, you will be feeling more tired than ever. The main reason for this is because caffeine is well known to be a stimulant.  It doesn’t have effects which are long-lasting but it can create a level of dependency, much like drugs can do if overused or abused. The result is that your body feels the effects less and less, you will find that you end up craving it less and less. On top of this, caffeine will add to your stress levels, making you feel even more jittery as a result. This is the last thing that you need, so avoid caffeine where possible.

Stay Hydrated

Did you know that fatigue can easily be caused by dehydration? You’ll want to do everything you can to try and be more active during the day and you’ll also want to try and drink more water too. Doctors recommend that you drink 8 glasses of water a day. If you can do this then you’ll soon find that you feel way better as a result.
