Great music videos don’t have to have the biggest budget, the most elaborate dance routines or nonsensical story lines that disrupt the music (I’m looking at you Lady Gaga and Beyonce). Sometimes the thing that makes a music video great lies solely in a unique concept. Rather than relying entirely on frames of video, the award winning music video for Kraak & Smaak’s song “Squeeze Me” uses still frames printed in a flip book to portray much of the action. The fingerflipping scenes layered over the video, combined with quirky animations, give this music video an addictive charm that suits the song.
