I can’t tell you how often I complain about having to use a goddamned winky face to denote sarcasm online. Because LOL is just never an option for me. People, the Internet needs a sarcasm font, like yesterday. Finally, thanks to a few smart interns at creative agency, BBH, there’s a sarcasm font style: sartalics. Sartalics are reverse italics. According to the site that’s dedicated to making sartalics happen, “it’s all in the reverse lean. When you type what you really mean, it’s in italics and it leans to the right. Sometime in the near future, when you type the opposite of what you mean, it’ll be in sartalics and lean to the left.” If you’re on board, head on over to the site to join the movement.
