When I was a kid, I used to set up Hot Wheels racetracks in the living room and send my tiny cars zipping through various loops and curves. As I watched them go, I would imagine what it would be like to see the whole thing from the perspective of the driver’s seat. Who needs imagination when you have technology? Today’s kids can just use the Hot Wheels Video Racer to find out what it would be like to drive a Hot Wheels car. The car has a small video screen on the bottom and enough storage to record twelve minutes of low res video at 30 frames per second. It even comes with a Velcro strap so young videographers can attach the car to other things like a helmet, skateboard, or the dog. What? Are you going to tell me you wouldn’t want twelve minutes of footage from your dog’s perspective?
