If you’re under 18, you probably don’t have a single negative hanging around. In fact, you’re probably wondering what the hell I’m talking about. Here’s a quick history lesson: Cameras used to use this thing called film. Once you were done blindly snapping photos (nope, no preview, no trash can icon), you dropped off the film to be developed. Then you picked up your pictures, sometimes days later, only to discover they were all out of focus. Lesson over. This portable device converts old 35mm slides and film negatives into digital images without the need for a computer, allowing you to preserve your memories. Slides (35mm) and negatives (110 and 135 film types) are placed into a tray that aligns each properly. Images can be immediately previewed, and with the touch of a button, converted and stored on the converter’s 32 MB flash memory (which can store up to 56 pictures) as a JPEG file. You can transfer the images to a PC or a Mac via the included USB cable, or connect it directly to a TV to view.
