A body heat powered flashlight was presented this year at the Google Science Fair. The invention is made up of Peltier tiles and a regular flashlight that’s had it’s voltage and circuitry reworked, plus some of the plastic exterior removed. You’d think this was invented by some grown-ass man in a messy labratory or something, but no. You’d be wrong. It was invented by 15 year old Ann Makosinski. Which is amazing. When I was 15 the only thing I ever invented was excuses to not have to go to school/do my homework/eat my vegetables/etc. So kudos to you Ann! You’re basically already, like, a contributing member of society or whatever. Some people don’t ever accomplish that in their whole lives. Take me for example. It’s never gonna happen!
