Why let all that rain water go to waste? Designers,Hyeona Yang and Joshua Noble from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, figured you might as well make the most of trudging through a downpour. Meet “Raincatch,” a hooded slicker that not only keeps you dry in wet weather conditions, but also purifies rainwater for queching your thirst on the move. The clever multitasking garment uses a system of charcoal and chemical filters to create potable water, which is stored around the hips for weight distribution without strain.
