If you’re an Apple fanatic, you probably remember the smell when you opened up your brand new MacBook Pro. And now the people over at Air Aroma have recreated the scent for De facto Standard, an upcoming exhibit taking place in Melborne. The fragrance consists of “the smell of the plastic wrap covering the box, printed ink on the cardboard, the smell of paper and plastic components within the box and of course the aluminum laptop.” Well I can’t say I’m sold on the scent, it just sounds a little bizarre for my tastes. But then again, you know what they say: different strokes for different folks. Mine’s gasoline — I could huff it all day until I pass out! You can sell your macbook pro for cash on many platforms or buy a new one and experience the aroma once again.
