Remember when we found the World’s Heaviest Insect? Oh mem’ries! Well this is the world’s smallest vertebrate found in New Guinea. The Paedophryne amauensis averages less than 1/3 of an inch. Chris Austin, the herpetologist who lead the frog-finding team, says it was difficult to snag one of these guys because of their tiny size. Ya think?! I have a hard time finding my size 13 shoes every day and I live in a 300 square foot studio apartment. It’s just one tiny, depressing room! Anyway, onto the question that is plaguing everyone’s mind: how many of these do you have to lick before the hallucinations kick in? I’m thinking at least a zillion.
