The Lygodium Spider Moth, or Siamusotima aranea, is a species of moth that looks like a spider. Or is it a spider that looks like a moth? No, it’s the first one. A moth with spider leg markings on its wings. It’s meant to trick predators into thinking that they’re a spider so why don’t you just back the f*** up! Good plan. Unless you’re a Lygodium Spider Moth trying to hang out at my house. Moths? I can deal with moths. Scoop em up on a magazine and set em free! But things that look like spiders? Smash first, ask questions later. One time I destroyed a coat rack based on this very policy.
