Traditional dog beds aren’t all that exciting. Then when you get into specialty versions, you’re likely to head into prince & princess crown territory. Truly contemporary versions aren’t easy to come by, bu when you find a great one, you’ll know it was well worth the research. Take this concept for example. Created by Slade Architecture as part of a design challenge, the Puptent is a “nest” for pets that’s made from water-jet cut plywood laminated together in a conical shape. Openings at the top provide air circulation and some natural light for sleeping pups…or cats.
