The coolest trick I’ve ever performed with a lighter was to remove the piece that controls how high the flame rises in order to scare my smoker friends. (The flame goes really high without that part) But I’ve learned that teaching lessons involving fire can lead to singed hair and sore feelings, so I’ve since decided to stop tinkering with lighters. However I have a new, much safer, lighter project that’s actually constructive. This tutorial demonstrates how to turn a cheap lighter into a mini motorcycle. Personally I plan to turn every lighter I come across into a useless, but very cool motorcycle as a subtle way to remind my friends to quit. Since scare tactics and giant flames haven’t worked, maybe turning their lighters into art will slow them down.
