We’d love to see HOI Magazine Chairs fill every waiting room. There’s nothing worse than getting stuck in a tiny plastic chair for 20 minutes with nothing to read but a sticky 5 year old copy of Parade. But a fully stocked HOI Magazine Chair would afford you some personal space and a chance at something interesting to read. It would also make a great break room chair for employees to take five and share last month’s issues of their favorite mags with coworkers.

As an avid mag reader, and a collector of cool gadgets and colorful, unique furniture (and I’m not a doctor), these chairs not only appear to be uncomfortable, but even if I was a rich doctor, I wouldn’t dare fill my waiting room with a bunch of $2425 chairs. I’m settling for a hot pink entire couch for my office I found on Craigslist for $300– oh, and a $10 magazine rack (brand new).
I completely agree with JW. What an absurdly overpriced money grab! Same goes for everything else on their website.
