Ian Hutcheon is a man. A man who loves wine and outer space. Which is why he created the first wine to be aged with a meteor, a Cabernet Sauvignon named Meteorito. The 4.5 billion-year-old meteorite in question is from the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter and is believed to have landed here on Earth about 6,000 years ago. Theeeeeen it sat in a barrel of Cabernet Sauvignon for 12 months. For now you’ll have to travel down to his vineyard in Chile if you’d like to purchase the galactic vino. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that a bottle of the stuff is completely unaffordable. I can barely afford boxed wine!
