I have serious issues when it comes to cutting cake for guests. Maybe it’s because I’ve never been any good at geometry. Or maybe it has to do with the fact that when I’m at home, I just eat the whole thing. Before I host another birthday party for my kids, I need a  Klipy.  It works by inserting it into the center of a cake to start. Then you make the first cut for your celebrant and line up the guides based on how many total pieces you need: 6, 8, 10, or 12. After that, all you have to do is cut where the guide tells you to get perfectly even pieces and perfectly satisfied guests…except for that newly gluten-free friend.
