Despite what we’re supposed to believe, pre-packaged foods that you have to “assemble” aren’t necessarily all that convenient—like Lunchables or fruit parfaits that include a separate container for the granola. After everything’s said and done you probably should have just made yourself a sandwich or a real parfait… and it would probably have been more satisfying. But that’s nothing compared to work required to make this Japanese sushi candy (aka the Popin’ Cookin’ Happy Sushi House). You have to mix mysterious powders and liquids to create candy that looks like rice, fish and caviar. In the time it takes to make the entire treat you probably could have trained to become a real sushi chef.
