Disneyland is known as The Happiest Place On Earth (unless you eat 7 cotton candies and immediately ride Space Mountain, in which case, it’s The Pukiest) while this Thai amusement park aims to be the opposite. H-e-double-hockey-sticks is the theme over at Wang Saen Suk Hell Park. It…sounds like a genuinely terrible time. No word if the man of the hour, Satan, rears his ugly head to take some pictures with visitors, but it’s for the best that he doesn’t. You KNOW he’s the type who’d stick that fiery poker up your ass riiiight before they snap the photo. They don’t call him Lord of @$$holes for nothing!

  1. Wrong information :)

It’s not a theme park, it’s a part of a temple. All the sculptures shows tortured moments in hell to scare people of doing bad things.

All actions comes from thai ancient literature. The literature is about the life after death. The temple also shows ‘heaven’ part.

Well, I admit it’s not a good looking sculpture but this post is totally wrong.

  2. Wrong Hell Park!

Only the last one of these images shows the place you are talking about. All of your other photos come from Wat Phai Rong Wua, which is around 200km away from Wang Saen Suk.

I recommend this very detailed report on the Wang Saen Suk Hell Garden.
