Artist Jordan Mang-osan uses wood as his canvas and a magnifying glass coupled with the sun as his medium. That’s right, he uses the sun shining through a magnifying glass to burn landscapes onto wood. Cool! The only thing I’ve used the sun shining through a magnifying glass for is to burn a hole in my retina. Of course, it wasn’t intentional — I was just trying to peep the sun up close and, well, it backfired. Like, literally, backfired directly into my eyeball.
