As technology becomes obsolete many artists find uses for old computer components, especially in sculptures. But London artist Nick Gentry found another compelling use for old floppy disks by using them as his canvas. He finds patterns inherent in the disks such as a metal circular hub as a human eye, and brings them out with paint. Art lovers and computer geeks will be happy to know the paintings are available for purchase starting at $470 and ranging to $1,100.
