Maybe my mind is in the gutter, but this seems like it would be an awesome sex toy. Actually, I’m surprised it’s not—it’s from Japan, you use it by touching up to three other players’ skin and the name translates to “Human Instrument.” If that doesn’t sound like a sex toy, I don’t know what does. But I do also see plenty of potential for good clean fun with Ningen Gakki. Up to four people can play by touching one of the device’s electrodes and then touching another player’s skin to make a sound. A length of the touch affects the length of the sound and if you play it just right, you can create a bravado effect. Ningen Gakki includes several different modes, turning you and your friends’ bodies into drums kits, weird noisemakers or mini-orchestras.
