Baby's First Butcher Shop -- Wait, What?

Back in the day during the Victorian period little girls didn’t have Bratz, Littlest Pet Shop, Fur Real Pets, or whatever the hell kinda toys they play with today. Instead, they had miniature butcher shop play-sets. Some examples are currently on display at London’s Museum of Childhood. Now before you get your panties in a bunch and say that cutting up animals and handling raw meat isn’t appropriate for children, just remember: this was before radios, tv, movies, computers, iPhones, or the internet. Even dial-up! The only stuff those poor kids had to keep them entertained was pretending to cut up animals and handle raw meat. That, and setting things on fire. It was a different time!
