Everyone is beautiful with or without make-up, but there is something about a quick brow tidy up or gorgeous long lashes that makes your face even more wonderful and can give you extra confidence.

Before heading to a salon, why not check out these babe lash serum and have a go at naturally increasing the length and thickness of your eyelashes and eyebrows? If you want to change the color of your brows, tinting may be a good option for you.

Tinting is one of the top ten treatments performed in salons across the country. If you choose to go for a tint, here are some top tips you should know before you get there:

1.      Have a Patch Test Performed

Having a patch test is really important. If you choose not to have a patch test performed before you attend the salon, you may find that your therapist won’t be able to undertake the procedure. Do you want to know why?

It’s obvious really – if you don’t have a patch test, you won’t know if your skin will react to the treatment being used. You may have an allergic reaction, which could be very serious. It’s always a good idea to visit the salon of your choice at least 48-hours prior to your booking and the therapist will test the product they are going to use on a small, less visible area of your skin.

2.      Don’t Wear Make-Up

It’s a good idea to attend your appointment with clean lashes and eyebrows. This will save your therapist time with makeup removal and it will ensure that the tint applied lasts for longer. Try and ensure that you have no oily residue left on your face from moisturizers or tanning oils – this will make sure that your tint absorbs properly.

3.      Remove Your Contact Lenses

It’s a good idea to remove your contact lenses before your therapist commences treatment. It is also advised that you leave them out for a couple of hours after your appointment too. If you need lenses to drive, then use your glasses and wear them until your tint has had time to set.

4.      Work Out What You Want Before You Get There

If you are unsure of what you’re looking for then your therapist will be able to offer you some advice on what would suit your coloring and face shape, but it would also be a good idea to do some research before you turn up. Golden shades can make your eyes look brighter, but a darker shade can create fullness.

5.      Do Some Research

There are lots of tinting products available that you can use at home, but because you’re applying these products to the hair near your eyes and skin, it’s always a good idea to visit a professional. Even people who are amazing at applying make-up should head to a salon, as tinting is a lot harder than it sounds.

Whether you’re wanting darker lashes or fuller eyebrows, there’s a tinting treatment available for you. Tinting products come in lots of different shades, so make sure you know exactly what you’re looking for before you attend your appointment.
