Wouldn’t your daily household tasks be so much more fun if you could just slide all your laundry downstairs? Sure you still have to make your way up there, but at least there’s a reward in the end. This New York apartment is two identical one-bedroom units, one atop the other, combined into a duplex home. The most unusual thing about this combination is a half-tube stainless steel slide that connects two levels of the apartment. It starts on the top floor and lands below near both the living and dining areas. The super cool slide is surrounded by custom designed glass railings and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Big Apple. What’s that? You need something from upstairs? I’ll get it!
